MORE DETAILS: A WALK THROUGH THE EVENING'S FLOW
Check-in begins at 6:15pm, after which you'll walk into our showroom and after check-in, choose from a custom-designed CRAFT COCKTAIL menu, mixed by local professional mixologist Hallie and sponsored by Eagle's finest Italian restaurant, Caci Grill. You'll sip and mingle through the showroom and gaze on local large-scale slabs and in-stock furniture and home goods.
Then, around 6:30, we'll begin the official festivities with a delectable GOURMET CHARCUTERIE AND STEAK BUFFET. This bespoke buffet will feature locally raised grass-fed beef, grilled on-site by Thomas Cattle Company - and - high-end cheese, meats, nuts and fruits curated by James Beard-nominated chef Sarah Cornfield of Petite 4.
Once you have your food, Sarah will lead us through HOW TO STYLE AN INSTAGRAM-WORTHY CHARCUTERIE BOARD. Her expertise is second-to-none locally. Your next home entertaining event will be even better with the expertise you'll gain!
After sating our appetites, we'll satisfy our handcrafted inclinations with the CHARCUTERIE BOARD POUR portion of the event. Our team will have prepared the walnut wood and molds and assign you a board that you'll get to pour yourself! You'll first choose the pigments that you want for your board, then a team member will help you mix it into the epoxy and direct your pour. Get creative! This will be YOUR board to give to yourself or someone else. (Boards will be finished by our team and will be ready for pick-up at our showroom within four weeks' time).
As the pours are happening, HANDMADE FRENCH DESSERT will be served by pastry chef mom-and-daughter team of Melt Chocolate Co. Their luxury handcrafted chocolates have exploded in popularity in the past year and they've expanded into pastries as well. Delicious to taste and gorgeous to behold, their sweet treats are incredibly splurge-worthy.
We'll wrap up with an overview of what locally crafted means here at WoodLab and when to expect your boards, then say a grateful thank you for your support.
We hope that you'll leave feeling satisfied, informed and inspired!
